Dear whoever you are The Pacific trade winds hostel is the best hostel layout in a city in the whole wide world, I guess I am buyist because I had such a good time there and 99 percent of the staff just let me be me. The place is great, with great energy , this place is not for PARTY , but the same way you can meet great people there. They have good workers can help you with anything (almost) , the place is clean and i dont have any trouble .Great localization
The hostel has a nice atmosphere to it :) Met many new (international) friends and the staff is super friendly! Location is super convenient too, it's near all the major attractions including the Wharf area and Chinatown. Would definitely recommend this place to fellow backpackers and travelers looking for decent and low cost accommodation.
My 2nd stay with them due to the amazing and super friendly staff there and the really great community they have. We even had a really great chill night with people playing guitars and I even made some really great new friends I can't wait to meet up with again someday! Best place and location for the money if you're visiting San Francisco
The bed at Darren's place is very comfortable! And you will never feel lonely because you're surrounded by a lot of nice guys.
The Pacific Tradewinds Hostel is awesome. Before my few days there, I never stayed at a hostel before. It was incredible meeting the other guests from all over the world and hearing their stories. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, and even though I didn't use the kitchen, that was very clean as well. The hosts were wonderful people, and ensured the visitors had a great time. If you have not stayed at a hostel before, try this place out, you'll meet some interesting people and won't forget the time you spent there.
I had such a great time at this hostel. Great location. Right in between the financial district and Chinatown. 10 minutes walk to Union Square. They have free breakfast every morning, the staff are very friendly too. I stayed here for almost two weeks for an internship and I loved my whole stay here!!
If you are looking for a good quality-price ratio this is the place to be. Super friendly and helpful staff to help you with any of your needs. And if you travel alone this is definitely a place to meet people. It doesn't matter that you are shy because everything about this hostel is centered around meeting new people: the layout of the beds,the group activities, a daily updated board with local events displayed, the included breakfast, etc.
This was a great place to stay while in San Francisco. I was in town attending a conference at the Moscone convention center. My daily walk to and from Moscone was pleasant, quick and safe. Also, you can't beat the price.
Awesome time with a group that knows how to create community. This crowd knows how to make people feel included and provide as much or as little help as you would like. Would stay again.
