Very nice stay! I was made very welcome at the hostel. One of the nicest and well equipped hostels I have stayed at and all the workers, visitors were lovely!
I had a fantastic trip, which was heavily influenced by the amazing pacific tradewinds hostel. The living conditions were great and the people were even better. I doubt I'd ever stay anywhere else in the bay area.
I stayed here long enough to meet the whole staff, and they are uniformly fantastic. They run a tight, clean ship that encourages mutual respect and camaraderie between guests. They have great suggestions for things to do in the city, they now supply a light breakfast that hits the spot, and they have lockers available to help keep your stuff safe (although it's safe enough between a few dozen pairs of watchful eyes). If you're searching Airbnb because you want more of an insider's perspective for your visit to SF, why not stay here and get a bunch of insider's perspectives?
Nice environment - everyone was very welcoming =) would definitely be back when i head back to SF!
