Staff were great and wonderful, and my stay here was so comfortable. The location is awesome too. I will definitely stay here again.
This is a great small hostel! Staff is friendly and accommodating. The hostel provides bedding, towels and other ammenities, which is a major plus. Location is very central and it is also a great setting to meet other travelers, too.
Friends you haven't met yet. If you want personal space and privacy you're better off at the Hyatt. Pacific Tradewinds is well run, clean, safe. Social activities every day. Wifi and two computer terminals for your use. Super friendly atmosphere. You will arrive as a guest and leave as family.

Excellent stay at pacific Tradewinds! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hostel was clean and well kept, with the added benefit of being centrally located. It was perfect for my incredibly short stay in San Francisco!
Loveeeeed my stay. We came here on a weekend get away for my late birthday and I couldn't be more happy. Everyone was super nice and accommodating! They have great activities during the week you can jump on board with and everyone we met were nothing short of amazing! Would definitely book again !

Very accommodating, very clean, and a lot of little quality of life things like the kitchen and common room. Very central and close to Chinatown and a couple of blocks away from Montgomery St. BART station/Market Street. Hosts are nice and I would stay here again.
This is the first time I live in a hostel. It is an intimate community. You can meet with different people come to stay for different purposes. It is an economical choice.
Perfect place if you're traveling solo! Location wise it's super convenient too. Also if you do not know what to do in SF - they give you the best the suggestions!
