Very friendly and helpful group of people in a convenient location!

I loved this place! I spent 2 nights here on my way to Costa Rica. It was warm friendly and clean. I had lots of errands to run and was able to walk everywhere! Location is really good! The bathrooms and kitchen were very well kept and organized. The staff was super friendly and fun! On my down time they took me on a trip to the oldest bar in SF for some blues and also to a Free show of drag queens on ice! I will definitely be staying here again!

I love this hostel :D The people at this hostel are so friendly that it feels like a family. All the booking was very easy and also very flexible. Even if I wasn't there often, I got involved into fun activities with other travellers, like preparing a christmas tree. Thank you! :)

This place is a really great one to go. Their location is awesome, close from quite everything you need to see! People are friendly, very nice atmosphere, very clean place. I highly recommend it for your stay in SF!!

Everything about this hostel is great!! My favourite part were the staff, they are just so friendly and always upbfpr a conversation. They always remember your name too! 10/10 recommend to anyone heading to San Francisco.

Este fue sin dudas el mejor hostel en el que me he quedado! Todo fue perfecto, los encargados super simpáticos y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Las instalaciones impecables, se tiene en cuenta cada detalle, desde la cocina bien equipada hasta los cuartos con lockers para cada huésped. En cuanto a la ubicación es cerca de casi todas las atracciones más importantes de San Francisco y el barrio me resulto seguro hasta para salir sola a hacer compras o caminar por chinatown después de las 8PM. Recomiendo al 100% y espero poder volver a visitar en el futuro!!

This was a wonderful little hostel - they were friendly and inviting from the moment I walked in. They made sure I was comfortable and provided clean sheets, pillows, towels, and peanut butter sandwiches! The guests were very conscientious and I slept very well in my top bunk in the room with 5 others. There was a very warm sense of community, and I would have loved to participate in the chill games and beers in the common room if I didn't have to wake up early!

The employees at Pacific Tradewinds are all wonderfully nice and helpful. They helped me plan my explorations of San Francisco and made sure that I was comfortable during my stay. Much less money than a hotel, and many more memories.

I always love staying at PTW! Great way to stay in the city for an affordable price without feeling like a tourist. The people are lovely, too :)

The best thing for me is that the people here are super nice and friendly ;-) And it is a walkable distance (with flat path) after shopping.
