Pleasant stay at Pacific Tradewinds Hostel. Clean rooms. Hot Shower. Great staff. The building is located conveniently close to the MUNI/Bart. Follow Sacramento street and you are by the waterfront in 20 mins.There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance which is great. Friendly, welcoming environment with great staff. Hostel was pretty small and up about 4 flights of stairs. Great staff with a friendly and safe environment. Very clean and tidy. Free towels and free sock wash! The hostel organizes a series of activities over each week, many of which are free (e.g. we went to "Darg Queens on Ice" while I was there). Provides a great opportunity to meet other travellers from the hostel and make new friends. Would recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco. Room Tip: The rooms are pretty compact, but they offer free ear plugs.
