Great stay. Small space, but it works well. Super location. People are great. Love the peanut butter and jelly, and super to have tea and coffee available too.

Darren was so nice. I loved staying here and will be staying here every time I'm in SF. Such a great vibe-the main room was so comfortable-computers, snacks, a big table -it just made it to easy to talk w other guests. I highly recommend Hacker Hostel.
My experience was great. It served its purpose well, a good place to sleep, shower and store my luggage.
Everyone was nice and helpful and everything necessary was provided. I was there for work, but I saw that a lot of leisure activities were offered that others partook in. Great value-for-money, thanks guys. Great that you had towels there, I thought that was unusual, and the bedrooms were very clean and nice. Also, thanks for the earpluggs!"
Johannita really enjoyed her time here. She was able to meet new people and learned of things to do in various countries around the world once she gets around to visiting them. It was very convenient being within walking distance of the BART and being right in the middle of downtown. There were so many restaurants, shops, and things to see nearby. At the hostel the bathrooms were clean, she stayed in a female only bay, and she had the opportunity to share a meal with the other visitors made in the hostel kitchen. All in all, a great deal in San Francisco, and all at $50.
