My trip to San Francisco was not as amazing as I'd hoped. While I was parked and inside a theater to see a show, my car was broken into - windows smashed, everything I'd brought for my trip taken. By the time I checked in to this hostel, I was a panicking wreck. The lovely people here took it upon themselves to comfort me and get me what I needed for overnight. Courtney, one of the hosts, went to a Walgreens and bought me underwear, a toothbrush, and a pint of Ben&Jerry's, plus a journal to vent my frustrations - all out of her own pocket.
“Pacific Tradewinds is a travelers hostel, less of a home-experience than the average AirBnB, but a very nice place to stay if you're looking for something cheap and friendly in a nice area of San Francisco. Checking in/out was smooth and easy, staff and fellow roommates were friendly and cheerful, and an overall pleasant and enjoyable experience. ”
We had a great stay at Pacific Tradewinds Hostel. The staff in the Pacific Tradewinds Hostel is very friendly and helpful. hostel was in good condition clean beds, bath rooms, and kitchen was good. had warm beds.

“We paid half of what our friends paid at the Chancellor Hotel half a mile away around the corner. The place was everything it advertised to be. There is garage parking directly across the street with decent day rates and come-and-go privileges. The garage attendants were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. The bunk beds were quiet and comfy, with locking trunk space underneath for luggage. I slept very well. Everyone we met was either cordial or very friendly. I would go here again. ”
