So Accommodating and Comforting Hostel

My trip to San Francisco was not as amazing as I'd hoped. While I was parked and inside a theater to see a show, my car was broken into - windows smashed, everything I'd brought for my trip taken. By the time I checked in to this hostel, I was a panicking wreck. The lovely people here took it upon themselves to comfort me and get me what I needed for overnight. Courtney, one of the hosts, went to a Walgreens and bought me underwear, a toothbrush, and a pint of Ben&Jerry's, plus a journal to vent my frustrations - all out of her own pocket. She wouldn't accept my money when I tried to give her some to cover the cost. She also found soap for me so I could take a shower. The hostel was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the lockboxes under the bed made me feel safe that my few remaining possessions were not going to be stolen. It was quiet when it was supposed to be, and there were drinks and snacks available for purchase. If I ever make it back to SanFran, I will definitely be staying here again. You all were so accomodating and comforting. I cannot thank you enough. ”
