I stayed for two weeks while taking a class and had the most amazing time at Pacific tradewinds. Well I knew a few people in town, I was quickly able to make friends among the staff and other guests. They have planned activities for every day that are affordable and extremely fun. Can't wait to visit again.

Some hostels have friendly staff, but that friendliness may only be to check you in. Here at Pacific Trade Winds, each staff member took the time to ask me what my plans were, help me in any way, and they were genuine about it. I often spoke to the staff and other guests which led to long conversations then activities around the city with them. The planned activities were great. Exploring the city with everyone was defiantly more fun than going alone. Pacific Trades Winds is on the top of my list for best hostels.
I am so glad I chose to stay at your hostel. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and the other hostel guests were friendly, too. I enjoyed the planned outings and the availability of the kitchen and common room. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and cozy, and I felt safe having my own locker to keep my belongings. Staying here made my trip so much more enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The staff were friendly and helpful and more than capable of pointing out areas of interest or places to eat etc. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. They are also very flexible with arrival which is great if you have business to do. The location is great for getting around San Francisco either by walking or public transport, which is no further away than 5 mins walk. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely be dropping in again next time I'm there.

Best SF hostel! My stay here was great. There was always something to do and it was in walking distancw of moscone center and everywhere else I needed to go. The people there are great, anticipating what you might need and always asking how you are doing and what they can do to help. Five stars through and through.
Amazing place to stay. Really afordable for being in the heartbof San Francisco, great staff, comfortable bedding, great community and plenty of things to do. Definetly want to go again when I'm back in the area!
