I was less about the fun--had to got to a conference, but the place is stellar! the staff wonderful and I'd go again in heart beat
Had a great time here. The atmosphere was friendly with staff happy to accomodate both young and slightly more mature travellers.
This is a very friendly and social backpackers I'd highly recommend - particularly if you're travelling on your own and want human contact (I did!) I was especially impressed with the staff who are keen to direct you to the best places in town and genuinely want you to make the most of what San Fran has to offer. Thanks very much!!
It's very rare to find a hostel with an atmosphere like this one. The staff are great fun, friendly and always willing to put that extra yard in to make sure you have absolutely the best time you can have during your stay.
In addition, the hostel itself is small enough to be personal, centrally and securely located near to many of the city's principle attractions.
Our stay in San Francisco was made by this hostel, and we will stay there again.
Super friendly and helpful staff, way beyond my expectations. Staff helped pull my ass out of a silly jam I stepped into on my travels, making you feel totally safe and welcome. Folks staying at the hostel were a great group of people, and the hostel breakfasts and dinners were a great opportunity to discover other venues in the city. Particular thanks to Brian the Flyin Scotsman for being a great stand up guy you can count on.
