Excellent location in a very safe part of town. Staff very welcoming, creating a very social atmosphere. Excellent safe storage place for stuff, and great to have internet access
Absolutely fantastic hostel, would honestly be the best hostel i have stayed at in a long time. Staff are really friendly and helpful, and the place attracts a great crowd of people. Plus perfect location :)

A small but nice hostel, single common room makes it easy to meet fellow travellers, well worth a visit.
Dave does an amazing job as "ambassador of San Francisco" to the world!. He is professional, in control of his staff and an expert on city history and geography. I stay at Pacific Tradewinds every time because it is unparalleled in its experience and amenities.

Although our reservation was lost somewhere on the web, the staff were able to accommodate us, even though the hostel was booked up. Good work! We liked that TV room =)
