Safe, clean, friendly, great location, nifty under-bunk gear lockers (bring your own padlock), good showers, nice kitchen, free coffee, tea and PB&J's. This place is very much like a hostel, yet has extended check in hours, no assigned house chores. Beer and wine allowed until midnight. No curfew once checked in (check in closes at midnight).
This hostel is in a great location, right in China Town/financial district. I enjoyed waking up in the morning and getting breakfast/buying little knick knacks in China town. Also, this hostel attracts a lot of cool people from around the world. Everyone's looking to explore the city together. Only thing I would say it space is tight and it's in an older building.

Alright, I'm one of those passive person who never write a review for anything unless my right has been violated, but this is my first time writing a review to tell you guys to what a GREAT EXPERIENCE I had here and hopefully I can answer some of your questions. I was personally preparing for the coding bootcamp located in financial distrect Pros: Price is definetely good. You are not only getting a place to sleep but also the work station where you can study and work in peace which was huge plus for me. You also get to meet with people from all over the world.
Good hostel. Good location. Easy to travel in SF. But the dining room is quite small but it's not a big deal! Recommend to live here!
100% positive I will go back for the awesome atmosphere, people and conversations at the common room. Really convenient location, great hosts, clean rooms and a very convivial shared environment. And loads of coffee, anytime! great check-in-times, and they wash your socks for free, i mean come on !
This was probably the friendliest hostel I've ever stayed in. The staff are very approachable and the setup of the place really encouraged interaction with other guests. It is not a very large place but the beds were pretty large and the rooms were very well-kept.
