Very nicely located downtown. I walked to the Alcatraz pier in 20 minutes. Close to public transit. Very welcoming staff. The other travelers were friendly, considerate and sharing of information and stories. Each day I went on excursions with new friends from the Hostel to see sights and go out for pub fun. Really it was awesome and well-run. I felt at home and any time I was missing something the staff helped me out.
