Very special hostel! I stayed in the PTW for a few days in October and already returned in November for a couple more :D This hostel has a very special atmosphere. Only after a few days it felt like home for me, because everyone has been so open welcoming. Especially the staff is doing a great job, they really take care of the guests and help you with all sorts of question. I found the cleanliness very good and the beds were quite comfortable to sleep in. They even offered free ear plugs at the reception to ensure, that everyone gets good rest. I had an amazing time at this hostel.

Amazing hostel with amazing people! Couldn't love this place more. I've stayed in hostels across Europe and North America and this was one of my favourite hostel experiences. I looked forward to coming home to the hostel everyday because of the friends I made here! Amazingly friendly and helpful staff, good common area where it is easy to meet fellow travellers, fantastic location, and clean facility. Noise was never an issue for sleeping, beds are comfy, and there is a large storage space under the bed.

Awesome stay, fantastic staff! I stayed at PTW when I was visiting San Fransisco for the first time, and I am so pleased I did!! I was greeted by the friendliest receptionist ever, who took pity on me after a long flight from New Zealand and got my bed ready so I could crash. The staff were super welcoming and gave me very detailed instructions on what to see and do, and most importantly how to get there!! I also found the other guests to be very inviting and being such a small hostel it's really easy to make friends and get to know people.

Awesome! Will come back! Walked in after spending a full day seeking a roof. They welcomed me woth open arms. I spent two great days and nights, and the staff is from SF so they will gladly advise you, and they even oganize across the city and even sometimes a boat tour. Just plain awesome! The vibe is so californian, it was the experience I was seeking! And they delivered!

Muy buena ubicación, esta al lado del barrio Chino, las mejores tiendas a unas cuantas cuadras, cerca de los mejores restaurantes y cerca del embarcadero central. Las instalaciones cumplen con las necesidades de tu viaje, cuentan con una cocina completa., un área social acogedora Su personal es genial y atentos a colaborarte para que tu experiencia con el hostal y San Francisco sean la mejor. Perfect hostel in the perfect location! This is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and try their best for you to have a good time there. It is maintained well and there is everything you need, including stuff for making your own food. Plus, there is free peanut butter and bread throughout the day! Aside from that, it is in the perfect location within San Francisco city center and easily accessible.
