Great place! This is a very nice place with an excellent location in the heart of the city. People there are so nice and help you with anything you need. Beds are comfortable and the place is so clean. Highly recommended!

Wonderful people and amazing location! Absolutely looooved my time here! Everyone is so friendly and it's easy to meet other people and make friends to do things together. The hostel is really clean which I liked a lot even though everyone is hanging out in the public areas a lot. It's obvious that the people who work here really love it and take care of the hostel and its guests.

“When I booked the location, the host communicated with me promptly and provided help with my travels. Also the fellow travellers staying there were friendly and good company. The showers and toilet facilities were clean and looked after. The beds don't have a lot of privacy, but if you don't sharing rooms with other people, it's a great catch. Very friendly community. I chose this place from the reviews and the location. You're only a few blocks from the Montgomery Station BART. Also, the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

I have a lot to say this time. At first, I made a booking via the online-booking-system which worked out pretty well. We had to change the date after we made the booking and one of the staff members changed everything and was very helpful in general. We had a 3 hour delay so we got our baggage at 11.45pm and had no idea how to get to the hostel. I called the hostel and told them about our delay and that we're on the way but because we were new to SFO it took longer to find cabs and shuttles.

Friendly, comfortable, and so central! The staff were really welcoming and made you feel at home, I couldn't have asked for a better stay! The other travelers were friendly, had some great yarns with people! Awesome location, 10 min walk to the centre of the city, bars, close to transport and in the middle of Chinatown, yeee haaaa! Thanks to Jane, Zee, Caroline, Kai, Sarah and Courtney who helped make my stay epic!

The most amazing thing about Pacific Tradewinds was the kindness and enthusiasm of the staff and the other guests. It was so nice to be treated like a friend in a community instead of a $ in a pocket. The location in the city is so close to Chinatown and the BART system, it made navigating really simple. There are lots of scheduled activities to help you meet people or get to other parts of the city you wouldn't want to explore alone. The bed was more comfortable than I was expecting, with two pillows instead of one and clean towels provided!

Welcoming hosts, comfortable beds, and overall very accommodating! The location is fantastic as well. It is a small space, so you should only book here if you are comfortable sharing a room and bathroom with multiple people. I felt very safe in this hostel and met many great people during my short stay.
