Had a great stay! From the moment I arrived and was offered help with my luggage at the front door, to the time I left (after being able to leave my bags there all day even after checking out) everyone was so positive, helpful, and fun to be around!
The hostel is located in Chinatown and very close to the action and public transport. It's a great place especially if you enjoy the hostel experience.

The hosts at Pacific Tradewinds in San Francisco were very nice and knowledgeable. Everything looked very clean and the bedrooms were pleasantly colorful. My friends and I were quiet as guests, and the hosts did not disturb us at all which in our case was fine. The location is prime for travelers as it is between the Financial district and Chinatown.
My experience at Pacific Tradewinds Hostel was nothing short of extraordinary. This was my first time at a hostel and they set the bar quite high. The hostel is clean and well kept and its location couldn't be any better. The best part is the social atmosphere which makes it easy to meet other travelers and make friends to explore the city with. The staff members are also very welcoming and helpful. If you need a place to stay in San Francisco, look no further.

This is a small hostel called "pacific wind" in Chinatown SF. The community is super nice with many interesting travelers. Close to public transit and restaurants.

Situated mere inches from the hustle and bustle of iconic Chinatown and in the direct heart of San Francisco sits the the Pacific Tradewinds hostel. my stay was INCREDIBLE!!!! In this tiny niche of a building with traditional rickety San Francisco fire escapes, you will see the window of the world. the rich aromas of travelers from distant lands tickled the cilia of your nose when you first walk into the common area. You also see an array of different knickknacks and pictures from previous travelers.
Very cosy hostel! Very sociable and friendly. Nice and clean.
