Nice hostel in an incredible position downtown, tucked between chinatown and the financial district, within walkable distance from the waterfront. Beds and linen are good, toilets are spotless, overall atmosphere is quite friendly.
This was only my second time staying in a hostel, ever, and it was quite nice although I would have preferred a regular ol hotel if I had a choice (booked by my travel partner, not me). I will say that I was concerned about the location, having never really spent much time in chinatown, however it was a good location- easy to find, and not really very far off the main strip. The staff were very kind and helpful, I loved their board in the common room that listed all the activities the hostel was doing the next week or two.

It is located in a good area. The bed was clean. I was able talk to other guests when i wanted to do so. Everybody was friendly.
Place is nice. Close to everything. Meet new friends around the world. I'm in LA now and there 1 new friend going there. So i told him to stay here. Thanks for having me.
Very nice group of people. Bed was comfortable. It may have been the night, it was very noisy outside otherwise a pleasant stay.
The host was very welcoming and nice to be able to check me in to the hostel. I appreciated the array of answers that was provided when asking about what to do in San Francisco.
Everyone at the hostel, staff and guests, were very nice and welcoming. People were willing to help you out, tell you how to get around or invite you to go explore the city together. Staff keep the common areas clean and the visitors during my stay seemed to keep their own areas/bunks clean as well. Everyone was aware of quiet hours and seemed to respect those hours. The hostel is in a good location and very easy to walk to places and still feel safe, even at night. Great, safe, clean economical way to travel! I recommend staying here!
