Pacific Tradewinds made our trip to San Francisco absolutely fabulous. By far my favorite hostel I have ever stayed in, and we will definitely be recommending staying here to friends!

I had to find a place to stay the day I was coming to SF, and I'm glad I found this one. Cool people, great staff, and a clean and well-run hostel. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in the city.
The people running this hostel are friendly, welcoming and a lot of fun. Their positive, upbeat attitude made the place very comfortable. Bathrooms were always clean during our stay and the sleeping quarters were kept neat. I appreciated having the large storage locker underneath the bunks. Also, having use of the kitchen was a money saver and it was so nice to be able to make a cup of tea/coffee first thing in the morning, sit in the common room and use the wi-fi as everyone started their day.
It was a great place to be for my first time in SF. And I will remember this place the next time i travel to SF. Everyone was nice and open, and the Whole Hostel reeked of comfort. Even drinking from an old ( yet clean ) jar was kinda fun in it self.
A great location for a cheap price ! Friendly Hostel allows to enjoy SF close the financial heart of the city. Easy access and affordable staff let you will make your stay a lot more enjoyable.
Positive experience, in a perfect spot in San Francisco, close to Montgomery BART, with a super equipped kitchen. A lot of international backpackers, friendly staff. I recommend it!
It rained furiously during the stay in San Francisco, but I was spared any disappointment thanks to the sunshiny attitude among guests and hosts alike. I met lifelong friends from Liverpool, Zurich, Malaga, Rome, and more. Everyone shared directions, ideas, tips and recommendations. This space is perfect for anyone after a spirited and welcoming social experience with an international flair.
Nice place to stay and in the heart of china town. Does what it says on the tin and ran by very welcoming staff
