Pacific Tradewinds Hostel - A great place for your first times... I am very new to the traveling set, and prior to discovering Pacific Tradewinds Hostel, had never heard of such a thing. These fine people not only made it easy for me, they had a facility that was clean, well groomed, and very accommodating to say the least. The location was superb. Walking distance to San Francisco Bay, China Town, Little Italy, and transit right on the front porch. Any style of cuisine within 4 city blocks. They had a great kitchen, showers, and beds.

It's a great place, the people who work there are nice, they have fault activities for all the guests that are really fun, it has a cozy homie feel. In general I highly recommend staying there if you are traveling by yourself and like meeting cool people!

Great stay! Great people. It was a last minute book for a business trip and I wanted to book something inexpensive, but walking distance to my work place & this was perfect. Everyone was so awesome. If you’re traveling alone I would definitely recommend because you meet so many people that you can go and do stuff with!

If you're passing through, this is a great place to be social, meet people from across the world and make friends. It's location is great, the staff is amazing and the rates are great. I stayed at the social hostel and we had a blast!
