This hostel has been an absolute blast. Everyone I've met there has been kind, light-hearted, and a treat to spend time with. If you stay here, you'll find yourself making genuine friends in no time
Very friendly staff and central location. Basic but comfortable space. Had a “social” room and a “quiet” room which allows a more custom experience. They also had good amenities for the price, like free PBJs, drinks, hair dryers, sock wash, etc and small selection of food for purchase at good price.

Great hostile! It's tough to find an affordable place in SF and this one is also in a good location. Check in was easy and Chadwick was helpful and knowledgable. FYI if you have a car, ST. Mary's garage a couple of blocks away has some good deals.
Great location with walking distance to tons of eateries, bars, shops, and public transportation. Everything was as described and staff was very friendly and helpful. Great experience.
We had a wonderful stay here, the thanksgiving celebrations were a lot of fun and the food was great! It was the best first thanksgiving we could have asked for!
If you're looking for a hostel where you can easily make new friends and be close to the action, look no further I had a great time staying at Pacific Tradewinds The staff are friendly and very accommodating with any questions and help you need They hold daily activities which either help you explore some of the sights, or experience the nightlife on offer, with other travellers from the hostel Facilities are all shared but generally have a quick turnover time so you're almost never being held up like you do at other hotels
This hostel is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful and lots of thought has been out into ensuring that things run smoothly. I love the fact that you can put your socks out at night and they are washed and dried in the morning. The free flow of coffee and bread, peanut butter and jam was also much appreciated. Thank you to all staff. This really is a great place to stay in San Francisco.
