This was the first hostel I stayed in and my first trip travelling alone - the staff instantly made me feel welcome, introduced me to other people staying there and I had a great time! Great location in Chinatown really close to little Italy and a 5 minute walk to Market St and Union Square. Would definitely recommend!

I found Pacific Tradewinds to be a great stay, it had a good vibe and personality and is located in a great area. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hostel is clean. They also have free internet access and coffee/tea available all day.
The frendliest of hostels! The staff say that they like to keep the place as a home away from home, and that is exactly what they're doing. Good fun, good location, enjoyable stay, most recommended!
