Pacific tradewinds was the nicest hostel I've stayed in yet. From the minute you come through the door Dave (the manager) gives you a warm welcome. Its nice to have some where so homely when you're travelling. I had a great time there.
i really enjoyed my stay here! it is a very homely hostel which is always good for us backpacker types who long for a nice kitchen lol free internet a plus definately!
the place is well locade if you wont plan to rent a car, staff is very helpful and the steps u have to climb will make u never forget the hills of san francisco. cool place. marcus.

Very good hostel. Good location downtown, very good to excellent places to go out in North Beach. Free internet. Staff helpful and friendly. Good place to meet people.
