A warm, friendly environment filled with travelers exploring the city. The staff and the guests were both helpful and kind. A great place to stay for a quick trip where you will be out and about a lot.
Friendly staff clean and quiet
It was my first hostel experience by myself, and I am so glad :) They are like a little family.
The location in SF is convenient and close to public transportation. The hostel is really quiet, clean, safe and nice.
People who worked there are really genuinely welcoming and kind. I spent two nights with them, it was a perfect ending for my two weeks in California!

Great location. Great people in the hostel. Community based so nice activities that the hostel organized. Overall clean. For a hostel pretty good. Helpful and friendly staff. Zeke really makes you feel comfortable!
Ideal location for downtown and the set up allows great interaction with fellow travelers and the host/reception.
I had an amazing stay at this hostel. The staff is really nice and knowledgeable, and all of the guests had a sense of respect and friendship. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to have your meals there, there is a nice calm and chilled out mood in the common living room... You can expect to see everything they advertise for, and even more ! I highly recommend this hostel !
I only stayed for one night, but this place had all the necessities. It sort of felt like college all over again. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to. It was 3 blocks away from where I needed to be in Chinatown the next day, so it was super convenient. I would recommend this place if you needed an affordable place to crash for a few days.
Amazing location just on the outskirts of Chinatown, great digs with a fantastic mix of travellers & personalities. I will stay here again!
After having inconvenient circumstances forcing me to find a place to stay before leaving the US, Pacific Tradewinds took me in same-day. Staff were super helpful and were eventually able to find a bed for my girlfriend when her flight was delayed a day. The desk operator helped us with our bags and seemed genuinely interested in who we were. Great experience overall!
