This hostel was a great place to stay during my short trip. The staff was very personable and helpful. There was a great community feel here and the common room was usually full with friendly faces.
Just the best, as simple as that. The experience of staying here was truly one of a kind, when you meet the people here from the staff (now friends) to the other people staying here (also now friends) you'll understand just how great this place is!!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
I have no complaints with this hostel. Staff is great. Hands down felt like home for the week i stayed. Perfect location right down the street from the Montgomery station bart. It will take you to and from the airport. Safe and sound right at the start of china town on kearney so great food is more than available. Market street is a few minutes walk for all the shoppers. Places to store luggage with a lock. I never felt like i had to protect me or my belongings here. The other hostels i saw in sf were in questionable neighborhoods i was happy to come back to pacific tradewinds.
Very good landlord, the reception of my service staff is very warm, the room is bright, clean, spacious room, although 4 people live, but still feel very comfortable, not crowded. The traffic around the restaurant is very convenient and is next to the city of china. Overall, it is a very good accommodation experience, very suitable for people who travel to San Francisco, strongly recommended!

Staying at the hostel has been fantastic! Everyone was really friendly and relaxed and there were many opportunities to socialise. The location is also great, and the hostel was very clean and comfortable.
The hosts were nice and lively. The place was clean, served and comfortable. All the guests were nice and quiet in the rooms, friendly and considerare in the common room. I could drop my bags off way earlier than check-in, which is very helpful. Full kitchen is available, also private locker under the bed. Great location, too. Good job guys, what I expect from a hostel. Thank you for your availability!
The staff at Pacific Tradewinds were super friendly and accommodating. Met a lot of interesting people here. Recommend for anyone who wants a simple bed and to meet lots of fellow travellers.
Stayed for three nights with PT. No parking which was a hassle as a roadtripper, but man they are great. Staff is helpful and very fun. So welcoming, instant community. If in San Fran, best place to stay. Love you PT!
