Great, friendly hostel in a most excellent location.... about two seconds from Chinatown, North Beach, in the middle of the downtown area and minutes away from all public transpo. The staff rocks it... they're fun, knowledgeable and relaxed without it ever feeling sketchy. Nice common room that encourages the multiple international guests to hang out and engage in lively conversation. Super great location, super fun place!! HIGHLY recommended!

Tradewinds is amazing. I was offered a glass of water and plans for the new years night If I wanted as soon as I arrived. There is an unusually fun atmosphere at Tradewinds, and every accomodation is perfect. Tradewinds is within walking distance of every major attraction and is very close to the best eateries in town. I highly recommend Tradewinds hostel.
