“Listing is very accurate, the people are friendly, it is indeed a hostel and there is community. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here even though I was only ever inside to sleep. The hostel is 3 blocks or so from Union Square and steps from China Town. Nice location if you enjoy walking around the city, I didn't take public transit at all. The staff were very nice and took the time to ask me about my trip and what I was looking to do. They gave me good pointers on what to do in the city as well as tell me about the services. My bunk was clean and I got a blanket, TWO pillows and a towel.
Stayed here in December. Friendly staff and guests. I only had two days and they helped me see the most in SF. Made some great friends and there was always a crew to go out each night. Will definitely be back next time I'm travelling solo in SF. Common kitchen and amenities were all in great shape.
“The hostel provided me the basics for a comfortable stay. Perfect place to stay the night, and explore the city by day. Big plus being half a block away from Chinatown. Guests were respectful, and staffs were very professional. Overall, highly recommend, and probably go back if I am ever in the area. ”
