“I had a great experience during my stay at this hostel. The description as far as I can tell is accurate, and the bed was clean and comfortable. I also found the location to be great for vising places in different parts of San Francisco. The staff was friendly and helpful; they even gave me a great recommendation for some Vietnamese food nearby, and somewhat taught me how to use chopsticks. And even though the check out time is 11:00 a.m., I turned my key in and was kindly allowed to leave my suitcase there longer while I went out since my flight was not until 10:20 p.m. that night.

“Pacific Tradewinds was different to any other hostel I had stayed in before, but it had a nice community feel and was great value for money. It's an easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square, and the BART to the airport. The staff were very helpful (especially when I had a suitcase bigger than me!).
