Staff was extremely nice and friendly. Everyone respected each other and it was very pleasant staying at this hostel. Lights out at midnight is a really good rule for those who need that extra amount of sleep. Due to the nature of this being a hostel, the people who you are with can make or break one's experience but my personal experience was that everyone was friendly and respectful. The staff even let me place my luggage free of charge the day I left and had to do last minute things around the city. Highly recommended.

Great small community hostel, feels like family! It is very small and that makes it even better! Not too many people and everyone gets along with each other! Very nice also we had great trips and things going on every day!

This hostel is in a great location, you can get downtown to Market really quickly, you are in the edge of Chinatown, and Montgomery MUNI/BART stations gets you all over the place from Berkeley to the Castro! The team that works there are friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, there is even a free sock wash so that the dorms stay skink free! The place has everything you need, there is even an honesty cupboard full of essentials.

You will love staying here! Hot showers, very clean, great people!

It's perfect located and the people are super nice, I got along with everyone and again location location location! Daily activities too, loved going to the park and for a walk up the tower!

The people who run this place are so wonderfull! There's always something to do and the hostel have activities everyday everywhere around the city. There is no way you can stay at a better location for the same price aswell, comfortable beds and everything is clean. A great place to meet new people, the atmosphere is top notch, can't recommend this place enough. Special shoutout to Ryan and Phil for a lot of great memories! If I ever return to SF I'm going to stay at this hostel again. Hope to see you guys again!

I stayed one night on a layover. Clean, easy check in and out. Close to transpiration and food and such. The hang in the common room with the other travelers was the best.

Location is great

This was a conveniently located and clean hostel. I felt safe leaving my belongings as well as walking to/from the hostel day or night. Beds were pretty sturdy/quiet and comfortable as far as bunk beds go! Staff were very friendly and helpful and did a great job of including people - like by having daily activities you could join - but it was also set up well for those of us who need some quiet too (if so, go for a bed on the "quiet" floor - you are still able to use the common spaces on the "social" floor).
