Clean and warm hostel that’s very central. Walking distance to almost everywhere. Right next to Chinatown where you can grab nice food easily. Perfect place for solo travellers!
The staff is very attentive to your needs. They are constantly cleaning and wiping the kitchen and bathroom. I would strongly recommend staying in the dorms by the the main living area. Part of the experience is spending time in the common area with the other guests. I met some very nice people from all over the world with fascinating stories.
Had a wonderful time, did Yoga in a cathedral with Chad, the manager, and enjoyed getting to know my fellow backpackers. They also have free PB and J sandwiches and ramen, which is great if you're on a budget. Can't recommend this place enough!
It was my first time in a hostel and I loved it! The place is clean, organized and the staff is super duper friendly and thoughtful! Having the chance of meeting people of the whole world was exciting and priceless!!!!!
Great place to crash at if you're trying to stay overnight in San Francisco City and want to meet fellow visitors. Really good food joints around too. The check-in process was a breeze. Good beds and facilities and hospitality was top notch.
Great location, great hospitality, great community
I traveled alone to San Francisco and stayed for 7 days at the Pacific Tradewinds Hostel. The guests and the volunteers welcomed everyone very nice and friendly. Everyday they offered some activities and provided their guests with food all day long :D (peanutbutter jelly sandwiches and ramen). In the evening we often sat together, talked, laughed and played some games.

Hostel was relatively clean, staff was very informative and helpful. Location is awesome, super close to subway and bus stops, right in the middle of downtown SF.
