The Warmth and Friendliness of PTW Made My Stay Worth It !

Even though not a very big hostel, the warmth and friendliness of the place made my stay worth it. The hostel is also very clean.

Pacific Tradewinds is an amazing Hostel. It is clean, friendly, and safe. There is a strong sense of community and hanging out culture. Definitely do the events whenever you get a chance and remember to pack light!
You should only stay here if you're interested in being placed solidly in the middle of a stream of the best, most interesting people on Earth. Otherwise, skip it! There's a Hilton nearby that should do the trick. If I visit San Francisco again and can't get a bunk here, I will be devastated. The experience was beyond wonderful.
Great location with great people!!
Had a great experience here! Clean, good location, and friendly people. If you bring a car, I recommend finding a parking garage to leave it in and walking or taking public transportation everywhere. Would recommend to anybody who enjoys meeting new people from all over the world.
The location is awesome and the staff is very friendly and helpful, def going back again.
This place is just amazing. It's very little, but comfortable. The staff is amazing and really friendly. Very clean and perfect for young people. I loved the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and coffee everyday!
Landed at SFO 2pm, picked up hire car and checked in at 5. Easy drive in, and thanks for the detailed parking instructions, just paid 32 bucks per day for an underground parking 3 min away. Great help for finding places to eat and visit and nice guests, everyone really respectful and friendly. Great location too!
I stayed at Pacific Tradewinds for a week whilst I was in San Francisco - I was there for business (4-day conference) but had extra days to explore the city which is what made me choose PT. I had a great group cycle to Sausalito and met some lovely folks from all over the world. I literally only used this hostel for a place to sleep and was out on my own for the trip (through choice, apart from the bike ride) but the hostel put on a great selection of activities for you to meet other people.
Only one night, but probably one of the best hostel in SF
