Within First Day of Checking in at PTW, I felt as though I Was With a Group of Friends.

PTW is run extremely well with all areas of the hostel kept very neat and clean and in good working order. The staff (and owner) are amazing people, extremely inclusive and caring of new guests, and as a result, the vibe in the hostel is amazing. Within the first day of checking in, I felt as though I was with a group of friends that I had been traveling with for some time. While the hostel only sleeps about 30 people which is quite small, the common area is comparatively even smaller. This actually works in favour of the vibe of the hostel though, as guests naturally become more social in the cosy quarters. San Fran's implied limit for hostel stays of a fortnight meant that I needed to find somewhere else to stay long term, but otherwise, I would have spent many months at PTW. I will be coming back for weekend visits though as many previous guests also do. PTW is definitely a great choice for your time in San Fran!
