I needed a place to stay in SF, near a location where I attended a couple lectures. PT was great. Check-in was very easy, everything was clean, and everyone was very friendly. They have different activities every day. I decided to hang out during a wine and cheese night. It was a lot of fun and nice talking with everyone from different places. I’d never stayed in a hostel before, so this was a bit new to me. Regardless, it was a great experience and I’d recommend PT if you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stay. Very walkable area, too.

This is a great place for the price

This is a wonderful, affordable hostel in downtown San Francisco. The staff was super helpful and friendly! The shared room and the bathrooms were clean. The large shower room is awesome! This hostel is safe, clean, quiet, and within walking access to North Beach, Chinatown, Downtown, Market Street, Embarcadero areas.

Great location and staff went above and beyond to accommodate me

I had a great time here! Everyone was super nice and friendly. In the hostel life, you're only lonely if you choose to be and it was nice to always have other travelers around. The staff were always around and willing to give suggestions for things to do and what to see. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

There is such a friendly atmosphere here. Especially for me as a solo traveler, it was great to have a community I could come back to after a long day out. I met so many amazing people. Highly recommend if you are also traveling alone or if you and your friends are looking to meet others to explore with!

A great place with a fun, friendly and open atmosphere!

Simple place to stay if you’re looking for a cheap night’s stay in a great part of town. You share a room with several people. North beach isn’t far away and city lights and the Beats Museum is just a block or 2 away if you’re interested in that.
