Arrived at the hostel with a massive welcome from all who was staying there, the service there was fantastic and the people i met where from all parts of the world, would stay here again in a heart beat. was in a good location center to all the sights in the bay area and only 5 min form the Bart. I would recommend anyone to stay here cos you will not be disappointed,
Small but it has everything you need! Staff are friendly and helpful. Clean and homey. Very good use of space. The environment is more intimate than a big hostel. I highly recommend it! It only has two dorm rooms with six beds each. So booking for a large group might be difficult, especially at the last minute. But I think this works well for single travelers looking for an affordable and convenient spot. It'd be nice to have more power outlets in the rooms.
Me and my friend had a great time at the hostel and met some very interesting people throughout our stay. The people working at the hostel were very warm and friendly. Also, the hostel is in a great location, with Chinatown just around the corner and the piers within walking distance. This was the first time I ever stayed at a hostel, but it's definitely not my last.
Great place, the people who work there are really friendly, fun and accommodating. Excellent location as well.
I was skeptical of the reviews claiming this as a "home away from home," but it really has exceeded my expectations and grown on me. I've been here for three nights now. Every day new people come in, and everyone's been really friendly. You can always find someone to hang out around the city with you here. The staff is very friendly, and the environment is a very fun community. The location is also absolutely perfect for walking through Chinatown and the financial district.
Very clean hostel with an excellent location in DT Frisco. Most of the guests are international people from all over the world. Good WiFi signal and excellent laundry service.
We stayed at this hostel for 11 nights and we enjoyed it. It was quieter than expected and the community is just as friendly as described. Overall it was a great experience. I recommend it for every backpacker.
Im sad i couldnt say goodbay to all the team of the hostel. I had a great time, u were cool people to meet and thats partly why i loved san francisco. Hope to come back! Ksss
PTW has been my favourite place in the whole of the US! The people were amazing and I had some incredible times with them all! Miss you guys x
I LOVED this hostel! It was just so nice and welcoming and everyone was really really friendly. It was super easy to find new friends and I could always find someone to hang out or chat with in the common area. Also, great service with finding activities and fund stuff going on. I made some friends at that hostel that I FOR SURE will see again in life and actually that's not so common when you're backpacking. I felt more like staying at some friends' place than at a hostel.
