Great location: near subway, tourist sposts and good restaurants! They also have very friendly and helpful staff. The room is quite small, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Would stay here again :)
I had a really great stay here!
I had a really great stay here! Everyone was really friendly, and the hostel is in a perfect location. I was in SF to apply for my French visa, and the Consulate was just a 6 minute walk away which was perfect. Chinatown is just a few steps away, and if you don’t mind walking around, Union Square and the Ferry Building Marketplace is quite accessible.

I can't think of a better place to stay
The hostel was great for meeting other travelers flying solo. I was booked solid while I was in SF so I didn't get to hang out with my new friends much, but if I'm ever on a slower-paced adventure I can't think of a better place to stay.

Fantastic hostel. Absolutely wonderful. People are super friendly and the perfect mix of being social when you want to be and quiet when you'd rather be introverted. Free towels, earplugs, and sock washes are awesome, plus free PB&J's and coffee is great. Location is unbeatable, as well. All in all, the best value for a hostel in San Francisco.
