Awesome Experience
Pacific Tradewinds Hostel is a small hostel located close to financial district and China town, which is a perfect location to explore both downtown and piers.
I chose a social room, which shares the floor with another room, kitchen, common room and bathroom. It's small (4 bunk-beds) but cozy. Each bed has its own locker, for which you'll need your own lock if you don't want to buy one at the reception.
The bathroom has two showers and a toilet, both very clean.
In the common room, besides hanging out with cool people, there are two computers you'll be able to use for free (wifi is also for free).
The kitchen is super well equipped, you'll be able to store your own food in the fridge and you can always have free tea, coffee, peanut-butter and jelly, and noodles. That's honestly awesome if you go around the city the whole day and just need food for breakfast.
Since check-out was at 10:30, I had to free my bed by that time. However I could keep my stuff there and access kitchen and showers the whole day.
Staff is super friendly, they even gave me lotion after I got sunburned :)
