Definitely a Gem that Exceeds Other Hostel

Pacific Tradewinds is a gem! It's right by China Town/North Beach, a pleasant walk to Fisherman's Wharf (1 mile or so) and easily accessible to BART/bus lines. The staff are SO friendly -- personable, helpful, and genuinely interested in creating a nice atmosphere. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Guests were varied in age and nationality, and were all quiet and turned in early the night I stayed. Definitely exceeded other hostel stays I've had.
