“Potentially the best hostel in the States!”

After travelling alone across the U.S. for the past 4 months and staying in some pretty great and some not so great hostels, I wouldn't hesitate to call Pacific Tradewinds the best. I arrived on a Monday and I instantly felt at home thanks to Courtney and the other guests. Hostels are usually made by the people you meet but I have never been to one before where I have been just a sad to say goodbye to the stay as the other travellers. Everyone seems to be like minded and respectful despite the diversity of the place and everyone, including the staff (who always go out of their way to help) have a real sense of what travelling is about. Plus this place is only $35 a night plus tax. A bargain. PT is a little small but this adds to the homely vibe. I cannot recommend Pacific Tradewinds enough and will definitely be back in future.
