Good dining etiquette in Germany and Europe is not very different from that in the USA, but there are a few variations that you should know about. A typical German dinner consists of a selection of whole grain bread, cheeses, deli meats and sausages, and mustards and pickles (gherkins are very popular). In this community dinner prepared by German friends and we had dumplings, cabbage and some of the dishes as mentioned above.
