You’ve probably heard of the free Fillmore Jazz Festival that’s been running for over 30 years and held in July each year. It’s an amazing event that celebrates the history of Jazz in one of SF’s most historic districts. This year the fun doesn’t stop as the 1st annual Rhythm & Blues Festival is coming to the Fillmore in October! This is a chance to continue the musical fun and celebrating with a new focus on a genre of music of huge importance to the neighborhood as well. The event will have R&B going on two stages, plus arts & crafts booths, local gourmet food, community involvement, kids’ activities and games, seating areas, craft beer and wine, street painting artists, and more.
