A potluck is a communal gathering where each guest or group contributes a different and hopefully unique, and often homemade, dish of food to be shared.   It's potluck dinner time. We had such a fun way to bring hostel guests together without having to cook everything yurself. We had so many yummy dishes from around the world and shared with guests.
