Ever since 1938, the outdoor amphitheater Stern Grove has hosted free concerts every Sunday afternoon in the summer! Set in a forest, Stern Grove is a lovely ampitheatre to relax for an afternoon, pack a picnic, eat and drink with friends, and hear some great music. In the last several years, the Stern Grove Music Festival has seen acts such as Smokey Robinson, OK Go, Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, and the Isley Brothers. All for FREE! Seating is limited, so bring a blanket, and be prepared to leave with a dusty butt. You can bring in food and drinks, and there are also food trucks with food and drinks to purchase. Please remember, this day and every day, to pack your trash so that the space stays beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
