We know it’s a backpacker thing to be too cool for tourist stuff. We get it, you want the ‘legit’ San Francisco experience. Well, not only is that objective, but it also means you could be missing out on some really amazing things because of some label. Maybe In-N-Out burger sounds touristy to you, but we think it sounds freakin delicious (as long as you get the not-so-secret animal style menu option!) And few have ever said no to free chocolate because it wasn’t local enough (especially seeing as Ghiradelli has been in SF since 1893…). When you’re in a beautiful food coma after all of that, be sure to check out the sea lions sunning themselves on the dock.
