Hostels can be a great experience for children. However, remember you'll be sharing the room with 5-7 other people, we do not have family rooms and due to our small size, we might to split family members into different rooms. Even though we are not a party hostel and expect all our guests to be mature and considerate of others, we do feel this atmosphere is inappropriate for children under 12. Obviously people do come and go, and we like to have a social atmosphere in our common areas so there is a certain level of noise in those areas before midnight. So it's important to assess your child's sleep habits carefully and decide if dormitories are a reasonable option. Likewise, if your child wakes up a lot during the night, please bear in mind our other guests and consider whether this is likely to disturb their sleep.
If you don't think any of this will be a problem, great! Children are the same price as adults, and we can only allow them to stay if they're accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (this includes all minors under the age of 18 years).
