Being on the coast, San Francisco has, among many other chapters, a military history. Part of this history lies the Presidio Pet Cemetery. Here you can find the final napping place for pets such as Princess Tuptim, Cupcake, and Wiggles. Hundreds of animals- furry, scaly, and feathered- were first faithful friends to the military families who lived at the Presidio when it was an Army post. They were then laid to rest here.
