San Francisco has had a thriving blues scene for a very long time. The Polk Street Blues Festival will be in its 9th year and promises to be a great event. There will be live music over two stages, gourmet food, and lots of activities like craft beer and wine tasting and chalk arts. There are also kid-friendly activities and a Farmer’s Market. It runs for two days, Aug. 17th and 18th, 2019.  Admission is free and the event will be on Polk Street between California and Sutter Streets.
