This is not your grandma’s potluck dinner. While that may be because she actually knows how to cook and you are scrambling to figure out how to cook rice properly from YouTube, most likely it’s because a hostel potluck means lots of dishes from different parts of the world made by your and your peers.Yes, that’s right, you actually have to do something besides just show up, so maybe it’s a tiny bit more work than grandma’s house, it also is way cooler.
