One of the hostel’s best features is its prime location with easy access to almost everything. One of our favorite nearby spots is the historic neighborhood of North Beach, just a few blocks away. North Beach is known as San Francisco’s “Little Italy” and is bursting with culture and history. This weekend is extra special as the neighborhood celebrates its annual North Beach Festival! This is considered one of the first outdoor festivals in the country and it draws thousands of people every year. The festival is FREE, and will offer over 125 arts & crafts booths, vendors with gourmet and local food, two stages with live music and entertainment, Italian street painting, beer & wine gardens, and more!
