Not everything in San Francisco costs a lot of money. Some things are amazing and FREE! Thanks nature. :) We can get so busy in life that we forget to look around us, and especially above us. Traveling can also be hectic, so take a break from the chaos! Head to Dolores Park, one of our favorite places in the city, and this time see more than just the beautiful views of SF. Instead, lay down and look upward to check out the Delta Aquarids Meteor Shower, when it’s at its peak of intensity from a nearly six week stretch. The best times to view are midnight to 4am, so still plenty of time to go out first. And since you’ll be in Mission anyway, you should probably grab a burrito for dinner first. Who can resist? They are delicious, a staple of the SF diet, and though not free they are definitely on the cheap compared to other options. Technically you can watch this meteor shower from anywhere, but we think doing it at Dolores Park will be a spectacular night!
