For the first couple of weekends in January, there will be parades all over San Francisco for Lunar New Year. Expect lion dances and martial arts demonstrations throughout the city on January 4, 11, 18 and 19. Each day of the parades, the dancing lion will pass through several different neighborhoods. This Saturday, January 11, the dancing lion will pass through our neighborhood of Chinatown at 14:00! The parade will at the Chinatown branch of the San Francisco Public Library (1135 Powell St) at 14:00 and pass through the neighborhood for half an hour, until 14:30. Happy New Year!
