There are a lot of things we love about our hostel. We love our close sense of community. We love the fact that we have free ramen available to our guests and staff at all hours of the day. And we love our awesome location, right smack dab in the middle of Chinatown and North Beach! Whenever there's an event going on in Chinatown or North Beach, we are right in the center of the action. This Sunday, for example, we're excited to get front row seats to the Italian Heritage Parade in North Beach! It's the oldest Italian-American parade in the United States, and its ending point (Washington Square Park) is literally a thirteen minute walk from our front door. After the parade, feel free to explore North Beach further by spending time in beautiful Washington Square Park or grabbing a slice of the neighborhood's famous pizza. Pizza not in the budget? No worries. We got that free ramen. The parade starts at 12:30 on Jefferson and Powell Streets at Fisherman's Wharf and ends at Washington Square Park at Filbert and Stockton Streets, but you can stop anywhere along the route to view the parade for free.
